Construction Testing Solutions (CTS) is proud to welcome Esseltest Ltd into the business following a successful acquisition, with the support of The CET Group and Palatine Private Equity.
Esseltest provides comprehensive testing services to construction and on-site investigation projects. The firm is also able to offer same-day results for a multitude of tests, providing highly professional and prompt services through its experienced team.
This is the second acquisition that has been made by the company in six months, following the acquisition of Newark and Daventry-based Enverity earlier this year.
Speaking about the latest addition to the business, Kev Tonge, Managing Director of CTS, said: “We’re seeing incredible growth this year and have continued to go from strength-to-strength. Acquiring Enverity proved to be a great success earlier this year, so I’m looking forward to working with the team at Esseltest to see what we can achieve.”
The Esseltest team will form part of the CTS Midlands division, with its materials testing experts adding to the expanding operations in the region. Earlier this year, CTS announced its expansion into the Midlands, as well as the opening of a new site in Scotland and its Calibration laboratory in Chesterfield, as part of an operational restructure by its parent company, The CET Group.
Peter Eglinton, CEO of The CET Group said: “I am delighted that Esseltest will become part of Construction Testing Solutions and look forward to working with Lorne McClundie and his team. Lorne is returning to the Group after having established and rapidly grown Esseltest and we believe that together we can deliver the best service in the industry. Our focus has always been on having the right skills available across the country and providing accurate and timely results for our customers. We continue to invest in our business to ensure we can deliver this.”
